WWE had already made too many mistakes with CM Punk post-"Pipe Bomb" to make his true ascension to the top of the company mean the most, but a victory over Alberto Del Rio at Madison Square Garden in 2011 did at least feel like the closest he'd get to a hard babyface reset.

The match and victory tragically foreshadowed the bulk of his run - Punk won the WWE Championship in the semi-main, and it's where he stayed until turning heel almost a full year later.
