30 Most Inconsequential WWE Titleholders Of All Time

28. Chris Jericho - European Champion - 1 Day (2000)

Chris Jericho€™s European Title win is a nice footnote in a decorated career in which Jericho has won every singles title there is to win (including the Cruiserweight Championship when he was in WCW), but Jericho€™s win was only a plot device to have Kurt Angle lose both his European Championship and his Intercontinental Championship in the same match (at Wrestlemania 2000) without taking a pinfall. The match itself was very weird in that the Intercontinental Title was up for grabs first and the European Title was up for grabs last, despite the fact that the Intercontinental Title is supposedly the superior title. Jericho€™s reign only lasted a day, as Eddie Guerrero defeated Jericho (thanks to Chyna turning heel) for the belt, and did a fantastic job as European Champion.
