4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Apr 16)

It's another week with a tag match main event on Smackdown. At least Cena's excited!

Smackdown was taped in London, England this week. The British fans are some of the best in WWE, so it's always a treat when WWE heads over there. A lot of the talk coming out of this week's show was the health of Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan. We found out after Smackdown that WWE sent him home on Wednesday due to concern over his neck injury. Even though he was still scheduled for a few more shows as part of the European tour, WWE felt like he should go home. It turns out that he had a concussion rather than a neck injury although his long term status is unknown at this point. There was no sign of WWE Champion Seth Rollins or his Extreme Rules opponent Randy Orton, so the focus of this week's Smackdown was all about the other champions. Here are the results of the six matches from the show. Bray Wyatt d. R-Truth Bad News Barrett d. The Miz Neville d. Sheamus by DQ The New Day d. Los Matadores Cameron d. Alicia Fox and Natalya in a triple threat match. Daniel Bryan & John Cena d. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd This week's Smackdown featured a lot of good in-ring action, but as is usually the problem in WWE, the creative direction sure seemed a bit off all night long. Here are this week's ups and downs.
