4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (Sept 10)

A wild Rollins vs. Ryback Lumberjack match headlines Smackdown.

This week's SmackDown was another average show that continued the build up to WWE Night of Champions next Sunday. As usual, several of the biggest names in the company were missing, but at least the WWE Champion Seth Rollins was there. WWE once again teased the idea that Sheamus is going to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. The show progressed the current storylines in some ways, but then they took some step backs by booking some odd finishes or completely ignoring the idea of booking a finish. Here are the match results from this week's show: Cesaro defeated The Miz by submission using the Sharpshooter. Paige and Sasha Banks had a match that ended in a No Contest when they wouldn't stop brawling. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Jimmy Uso wrestled The New Day in a match with no official ending due to mysterious interference from The Wyatt Family. The Ascension pinned The Lucha Dragons by pinfall. Seth Rollins beat Ryback in a Lumberjack Match with no titles on the line. Kevin Owens grabbed Ryback's leg, which led to Ryback nailing a Pedigree to win. Here are the four ups and four downs from this week's Smackdown.
