4. Colt Cabana
When Colt Cabana joined WWEs main roster as Scotty Goldman in August 2008, it didnt take long for his run to become a failure. In fact, he lost his very first match against Brian Kendrick on his Smackdown debut. For the next 6 months, Cabana appeared sporadically, with no noteworthy feuds or angles on WWE TV. He briefly had a show on WWE.com, Good as Goldman from January 2009 but just one month later he was released from his contract. In his final TV appearance, he was defeated by Umaga on Smackdown. He immediately returned to the independent scene, where he tours extensively worldwide. Cabanas success has grown largely since his release from WWE. A popular character within the Internet Wrestling Community, Cabana has hosted his own podcast, Art of Wrestling since 2010, interviewing fellow wrestlers about their careers. Cabana is considered by the IWC as one of the biggest talents within the independent scene and a return to WWE would definitely be supported by this fan-base. Most would argue that CM Punks best buddy was never given a real chance in WWE but if he was able to return and wasn't held back by the Scotty Goldman character, perhaps the 2-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion could shine as he has done in the indies.
