This week's RAW delivered major storyline developments, two rematches that weren't just carbon copies of matches we saw last week, and a genuinely funny spot of sports entertainment.

Acting RAW General Manager Constable Corbin, in a decent d*ckhead move, stuck himself in a battle royal to get himself to Saudi Arabia's World Cup. The field was filled with jobbers, and one suspect figure in Conquistadors get-up. Kurt Angle's banana posture defies physics, and yet, Corbin was none the wiser. After Corbin cut through that field of no-marks - pointlessly expensive, since Mike Kanellis, No Way Jose and Mojo Rawley were presumably backstage - the Conquistador returned to the ring, performed a delightful dance, suplexed Corbin out of his boots, and struck him with the "tell-tale" Angle Slam. Then, hilariously, he performed a solo somersault bump to the canvas. He's not got many left in him, and he goes and does that!

Everybody else knew it was Kurt under the gold, apart from the guy entrusted in storylines to manage WWE's flagship programme. That damning plot hole aside, this was fabulous.

Constable Corbin, strangely, sold Angle's unmasking with shock. He'd just been struck with a trifecta of Germans, and it was hardly going to be Chris Benoit under there.
