After coming in to much fanfare at the center of a months-long “mystery” and battling the likes of Finn Balor, John Cena and Roman Reigns, Jason Jordan was pulling duty in a six-man tag match with Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil.

And while that shouldn’t be said disparagingly, it’s hard to compare taking Cena and Reigns to the limit and feuding over the Intercontinental Championship to being in a throwaway match with two guys who have lost to Kalisto, The Bar and Elias in recent months without having a significant storyline the entire time.

In fact, the biggest “star” in the match was Elias, who has won the bulk of his matches on Raw, including contests against Dean Ambrose and Finn Balor.

For Jordan, who was billed as being a big star with the “genetics” to back it up, the lack of any compelling direction (he’s been in a tag team with Matt Hardy that seems to have faded off) is not a good sign at this stage.
