6 Bray Wyatt Feuds That Were Exactly The Same

This was supposed to be Bray Wyatt's break-out year.

'The Eater of Worlds', having finally found someone susceptible to his mind-control powers (Randy Orton, of all people) and won his maiden WWE Championship, looked all set for a starring role in 2017.

Yet, after suffering defeat in perhaps the dampest of all WrestleMania squibs, and thereafter being drafted to Monday Night Raw, he finds himself in a familiar position: aimlessly drifting from one upper-mid-card feud to the next.

A month ago it was Seth Rollins, and now Finn Bálor, who he faces this weekend at SummerSlam after unleashing the Demon King's inner, err, demons by dousing him with red paint.

That's something Wyatt tries to do a lot: bring out the dark side in his opponents - yet it's remarkable how frequently it ends with the self-described 'Face of Fear' on his back (or otherwise in a worse position than when the feud started).

Where he does win, his victories are often Pyrrhic - such as his non-title House of Horrors victory over Randy Orton earlier this year at Payback. You may have taken the title, Randy, but you got scared by doll's heads, so who's the real winner here?

It's just not working anymore.

Bray Wyatt versus Seth Rollins was a transitional feud if ever there was one. Neither man had much to do in the immediate aftermath of this year's post-'Mania Superstar Shake-Up.

Wyatt was through playing games with Randy Orton, whilst Rollins - yet to kiss and make up with Dean Ambrose - was drifting aimlessly after his win over Triple H.

Throwing two solid workers together ought to produce something at least half-decent, whatever the circumstances, but this really fell flat.

Rollins wasn't spooked by Wyatt's teleporting antics, and - though the 'Eater of Worlds' picked up the PPV win at Great Balls of Fire - it was the Architect who got the last laugh with victory the following night on Raw.

Then Wyatt just sort of moved on to Finn Bálor, having presumably... realised he couldn't beat Rollins?
