6 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (Dec 15)

5. WWE Hypocrisy: Now. Then. Forever.

That entry title might be recycled, but that's sort of the point.

One of WWE's many weaknesses is a list of bullying crimes.

Just this year, Vince McMahon ordered Enzo Amore into a shark cage because he annoyed a few people and he's legitimately terrified of heights. In years past, Vince targeted Jim Ross - the man who helped secure the future of his company with ingenious scouting nous, and added so much drama to a generation of memories - because he didn't like the cut of his fat, southern, barbecue-loving jib. Harbouring hazers and harassers with the yuk-yuk endorsement of the boss, WWE's backstage environment is as toxic as Gillberg in a turtle suit. The WWE power players are relentlessly awful people and, cards on the table, if you can't or won't grasp that, you're probably an awful person yourself.

The WWE power players are also complete hypocrites - but since philanthropy is the future of marketing, the company's official Twitter account decided to make complete sh*theads of themselves, anyway, by weighing in on the Keaton Jone controversy despite their complete lack of authority.

The only thing worth not ripping your skin off about here is the fact that, typically behind the times, WWE posted this get-to-f*ck bullsh*t hours after the whole thing was maybe possibly revealed as a hypocritical cash grab orchestrated by a confederate flag-waving, N word-dropping mother and son duo.

Whatever happens with Keaton Jones, the young man doesn't deserve the hatred levelled at him; he is a nurtured being in his problematic formative years.

Here's hoping this acts as a stark warning to him - and a middle school-aged kid, sadly, is probably better equipped than a multinational company to do so.
