First things first €“ most of the Royal Rumble was remarkable. The action in the opening matches was excellent, and the booking was uncharacteristically sharp by WWE's standards. I really enjoyed it, and think that overall it was one of the better shows that I can remember WWE putting on over the past few years. Secondly, putting the title on HHH was probably the most logical decision. It was certainly the most obvious, and given how much the crowd enjoyed seeing him, it's safe to say that WWE finally managed to avoid catastrophe at this year's Rumble. And that made a nice change, considering that 2014 and 2015 Rumbles were two of the worst shows that the company has produced, well, ever. But just because it was the most logical, doesn't make it a good thing. In fact, if putting the title back on HHH in 2016 to avoid a riot is considered a €˜success' now, then that says a lot about the state of the product today. WWE's expectations of their fans are now so low, and the feelings from fans now mutually so, that it's hard to see how WWE can be successful this year without radical changes in how they develop their roster. Basically, I€™m not down with HHH as Champion in 2016. And here are six reasons why€
