WWE: 7 Reasons Owen Hart Should NEVER Go Into Hall Of Fame

5. Fans Can Still Honor Owen

Owen Hart Bret Hart has said he hopes Owen Hart's legacy can finally be recognized and he doesn't understand why Owen's wife Martha would deny the honor. He has mentioned that Owen's kids weren't able to see their father at his best and implies that a Hall of Fame induction would be good for them. Thankfully, it is 2014. With Youtube, Dailymotion, and even the WWE Network, fans have so much access to the best of Owen Hart without needing a WWE Hall of Fame induction. Some of his matches have already been released on official DVD sets and many of his best matches are only a click away. If Bret's nephews want to watch their father's best wrestling material...they can. Bret Hart's argument just doesn't hold up. In addition, with so much energy and effort from fans wanting to see him inducted, often going so far as to write and post nasty and vile things about his widowed wife, those same fans could be doing true good in Owen's name. Martha Hart started the Owen Hart Foundation through The Calgary Foundation back in December of 2000. If fans want to honor Owen's legacy they can donate to a wonderful cause and feel great knowing they've helped do truly positive things, not just complain on message boards.
