6 Reasons WWE Fans Won't Miss Batista While He's Gone

This past Monday on Raw, Batista "quit" WWE. It was a storyline way of writing him out because his new movie Guardians of the Galaxy is being released on August 1 and he has promotional work to do. Last month there were rumors that he would take his time off at that point, but he decided to stick around for another month to put over The Shield again. There were also rumors that he was asked to put over Daniel Bryan in a WWE Title feud. That never happened because Bryan was supposed to work with Kane again and as we all know Bryan was injured. Since Batista put over Bryan clean at WrestleMania 30, it never appeared like he had any issue working with Bryan or anybody else. Batista's expected to return to WWE in time for a match at SummerSlam in August. The reason for that is because it's a big show (one of the big three in WWE) and if his Guardians of the Galaxy movie is a big hit then WWE will do all they can to capitalize on that. When he come back, it's possible that Batista could be a babyface. He seems more natural in the heel role, but in the wrestling business anybody could change. They could easily put him against Randy Orton, Triple H and their new buddy Seth Rollins. That's another discussion for another time. There's a question of whether fans will miss Batista while he's gone. Some might. Most probably won't. Here are six reasons why we won't miss Batista.
