Mark it down: WWE's supposed "B-show" is back in the ascendancy.

SmackDown has been the company's most consistent brand throughout the month of November, and the trend continued last night, with the crew delivering another highly enjoyable two hours of television. Sure, there were lulls, but the past few weeks are as close to perfect as we're ever going to get from Tuesday nights. Let's enjoy it while we can.

Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton was the night's centrepiece. Booked last week, the bout had a fresh stipulation attached to it at the start of the night, with Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan desperate to put KO and his troublesome partner Sami Zayn in their place. Did things finally work out for SD's authority figures? Not exactly.

The night's other major developments saw the newly-named Riott Squad strengthen their roster position, with Ruby Riot(t), Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan taking out yet another former SmackDown's Women's Champion. Elsewhere, AJ Styles battled the Singh Brothers, the Fashion Files returned to our screens, and WWE finally pulled the trigger on a long-teased split.

Let's take a closer look at all the highs and lows from another triumphant episode.
