4. Is This Leading Somewhere?

For right now, let’s lodge this as a negative but if there’s follow-through, it could prove positive.

Generally, this writer isn’t fond of the trope of tag teams having one-on-one matches with each other, trading wins. In this case, The Revival’s Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated B-Team’s Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel pretty handily, making it a clean sweep.

However, this probably just gets them another tag title match, which will likely end up how the last one did: with the B-Team stumbling into a win. And that’s why this gets a “down.” It’s far more likely that these singles win will ultimately mean nothing, which has happened before.

But who knows? Stranger things have happened.
