5. Mickie’s Post-Match Speech

Everything that Mickie James said after losing the Raw Women’s Championship match Sunday night was true: She gave her heart and soul in a pretty damn good match, and this hopefully won’t be her last brush with championship gold.

But taken in context of being called old and not capable of hanging with Alexa Bliss, coming up short like that should have frustrated Mickie more than it seemed to. She basically brushed off the loss as having a good performance (the announcers used the same phrase) and that you win some, you lose some.

It’s commendable that she had a good attitude, but it would have felt a little more realistic after being ridiculed that she was upset with herself and showed a little more frustration and anger at losing.
