6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 11)

If you’re keeping score, WWE officially added two matches to the card for WrestleMania 35 on Monday night, but more are definitely in the works if what happened on Raw is any indication.

Finally on the other side of Fastlane, the red brand got back on track to building to Mania, which is less than four weeks away. Seth Rollins, who won the Royal Rumble six weeks ago (remember that?), got back to engaging with Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman. Triple H’s annual WrestleMania match got set up and confirmed all at once. And Kurt Angle announced his retirement at the big show.

In addition, we saw a Hall-of-Famer continue to churn the rumor mill about her return to the ring by getting involved physically for a second straight night. And Roman Reigns, who returned to action Sunday night for the first time in five months, likely got his WrestleMania dance partner after a very physical encounter.

But Raw wasn’t firing on all cylinders. The Raw Women’s Championship feud, once the red-hot darling of the show, continued it’s descent into overbooking and poor decisions. The Intercontinental Championship changed hands for the fourth time in less than three months. And Braun Strowman’s Mania plans look somehow less interesting than last year’s escapade.

With that said, there’s a lot to unpack, so let’s get to it…

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
