Monday night, we saw the long-awaited, much-discussed reunion of former allies who had been driven apart years ago by horrible forces. Their reforming as a unit could be a huge win for WWE, or it could be seen as a less successful reboot.

But enough about Bray Wyatt and Sister Abigail…

The Shield reunited Monday night during the opening segment and proceeded to run roughshod over the entire program, whether it was in person hitting a triple powerbomb on Braun Strowman, or in the countless video recaps shown throughout Raw. And hey, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns reforming the group that dominated WWE for nearly two years is a huge deal.

Fighting the Miz, Sheamus & Cesaro though? That didn’t seem like a fair fight, and WWE must have recognized that, because they added a monster to the mix.

We saw the cruiserweights grab the main event slot, which is either WWE trying something new, or a deliberate attempt to tank the third hour. We saw Mickie James light up the microphone in verbally taking down Alexa Bliss, reminding fans that she’s still one of the better female wrestlers out there.

And we saw Bray Wyatt use some parlor tricks to “introduce” us to “Sister Abigail.” Yup.

With that said, let’s find out what powerbombed the competition and what suffered through a Wyatt promo. Let’s get to it…
