6 Ups And Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 17)

What clicked and what clanked Monday night on Raw.

If this is what happens the Monday after an NXT special event, then maybe NXT should hold their two-hour affairs every week. WWE put on a hard sell for Sunday€™s Fast Lane PPV, which in some ways is a shame because it€™s more of a speedbump on the Road to WrestleMania than a destination itself. Fastlane is shaping up on paper like a solid affair. All five announced matches look like they will be competitive, and there€™s the likelihood that something involving Seth Rollins, Dolph Ziggler and their cohorts will also wind up on the card. The problem is, Fast Lane is five weeks before WrestleMania, so anything that happens there will just set up the real blow-offs in San Francisco. That€™s not necessarily a complaint, but it definitely detracts a little from Sunday€™s event. Still, Monday Night Raw delivered a solid go-home episode. The main focus was on getting fans invested in the Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan feud. And when you can get thousands of fans to chant, €œLet them fight!€ you€™ve done something right. There still are unanswered questions leading into Fast Lane, but things are starting to line up for both Sunday and for WrestleMania. Without any further ado, let€™s check out what clicked and what clanked Monday night on Raw.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
