Some things in life are simply too easy to achieve. There is an adage that screams that the best things in life are a struggle to achieve, and when you make professional wrestling look as easy as Apollo Crews does you may not fit in the struggle-obsessed way of the world. On paper, Apollo Crews should be an absolute megastar.

But Apollo Crews is not an absolute megastar. In fact, the leader of the Apollo Nation has become something of an afterthought. 2017 has seen him embroiled in something that resembles a feud with Dolph Ziggler, but since the draft Crews has been a bit-part player at best.

Crews looks and wrestles like a dream. He is as big as anyone else in the company, the sort of man that has muscles in places where most ordinary folk don't have places. The former Uhaa Nation flies around like a cruiserweight, performing athletic moves without breaking a sweat. What is missing?

Well, there are plenty of things missing in truth, and with just a few minor tweaks Apollo Crews could become a very important member of the SmackDown Live roster in 2017. Here are six ways WWE can salvage Apollo Crews.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
