6 WWE Heels Who Could Play Marvel Villains In Movies

Batista as Drax in Guardians Of The Galaxy got us inspired...

When Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters this summer, Batista's biggest movie role yet will be unleashed upon fans everywhere. It seems so intuitive to have WWE Superstars play Marvel characters in big-screen adaptations that it's almost a surprise that it took this long €“ they're not only physically built for the part, but they're used to taking part in morality plays writ large. While their acting chops may not always be Hollywood-level, a cameo or small role here or there would be a smart move from Marvel €“ not only would they be drawing in new fans, but they'd be delving into an untapped reservoir of unique talent. But Marvel, like WWE, is just as famous for its villains as it is for its heroes. Heels in both companies are known for their complexities and entertainment value €“ and here are six superstars who could take on such roles with ease. Just to keep with the theme, I'm avoiding non-Marvel owned film properties (Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider) and roles that have already been played in films.
