6 WWE Stars Who NEED Paul Heyman’s Magic

Advocating that Heyman add bark to the Big Dog's bite...

Brock Lesnar Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman would tell you himself that he's not a manager, he's an advocate.

Then, WWE's best orator would go off on a rant about how impressive his client Brock Lesnar is, how he single-handedly ended The Undertaker's cherished WrestleMania winning streak and how he's the "reigning, defending" Universal Champion.

Even though fans have heard this countless times, it never gets old, and that's because Paul's promo skills rank amongst the best in pro wrestling today. Those skills could be about to find themselves wasted; post-WrestleMania 34, should Lesnar decide to toddle off and try his hand at MMA again, Heyman will find himself at a loose end.

If WWE are smart, they'll replace Brock with someone else, and allow Heyman to continue his work as the top (sorry, only) manager (sorry, advocate) in WWE. He's the best promo man they have, and it'd be a gross misuse of his talents to leave him on the shelf as Lesnar fights in the Octagon.

There are others who need Raw's mad scientist to give them a helping hand...

6. Bayley

Bayley WrestleMania 34

Forget any talk of Ronda Rousey becoming the first "Paul Heyman Girl", because Bayley needs the role more than Ronda after 'Mania.

Raw's lovable girl-next-door type has watched her stock plummet from NXT superstar to main roster afterthought over the past year or so. Part of the reason for Bayley's plight is her sugar-coated character and childish promos. Now fans have tired of the hype, such chirpy positivity feels false.

A change is needed, and having Heyman there as a proponent for Bayley's switch from happy babyface to bitter heel could potentially rescue her entire WWE career. Together, Bayley and her new spokesperson would explain that she tried everything to entertain only for the fans to throw it back in her face.

The same thing happened with friends like Sasha Banks too, and Bayley is sick of being walked all over by those who are supposed to support her. A story like this, one relying on Bayley's love of wrestling as a child, writes itself and would let Heyman delve into the more extreme (pun intended) areas of his repertoire.
