7 Best Choices To Be Next WWE Intercontinental Champion

Would winning the Intercontinental Championship be a promotion or demotion for Dolph Ziggler?

WWE.comWWE.com The Intercontinental Title is up for grabs in a Battle Royal match at Battleground on July 20 in Tampa, Florida. The former champion Wade "Bad News" Barrett is out for several months after shoulder surgery, so he was stripped of the title and since WWE loves Battle Royals lately we're getting another one. At this following the most recent set of TV tapings the names entered in the match are as follows: Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Curtis Axel, Ryback, Big E, Rob Van Dam, Alberto Del Rio, Bo Dallas, Great Khali, Kofi Kingston and Damien Sandow. That's 11 for now. In typical WWE fashion, we don't know how many men will be in the match. It may be 20. It may be 30. It could be some other random number. We don't know yet. It also appears that other potential contenders like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will have a match at Battleground, so we can toss them out. The same can be said about Rusev and Jack Swagger. Obviously the Battleground main event guys John Cena, Kane, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns won't be involved either. The chances are that one of those names already announced is going to be the winner although there are some other midcarders that definitely have a shot too. Here's a look at seven of the best choices to be the next Intercontinental Champion.
