7 Current Stars Who Would Thrive Without WWE

Who can break away from WWE to be a success like The Rock?

The WWE roster is full of talented people who can do more than just wrestle, talk and act on sports entertainment shows. They are skilled performers who can do other things like we have seen so many others in the past. The Rock is a bigger star as an actor then he was as a wrestler. Now he's the biggest box office attraction in the world. He may only have a few wrestling matches left in his career (perhaps just one more), yet he's a part of the WWE family and the company loves to remind us of his success. They're proud. They should be. Batista wasn't somebody that most of us thought would be a big time actor, but after his breakout role in Guardians of the Galaxy he landed a role in the new James Bond film Spectre as well, so he's not coming back to WWE. Chris Jericho has ventured off to do so many other things including music, podcasts, game shows, acting and more. Steve Austin's a great podcaster as well as a pretty good actor who also hosts a reality show. Those are just some examples of people that made their names in WWE and then moved on to something else. It's not just wrestlers either. Announcers like Jonathon Coachman and Todd Grisham went on to ESPN as sports broadcasters too. Maybe a current WWE broadcaster could do the same thing. When looking at today's WWE roster, there are several talented people who could cut their WWE careers short and move on to something else. Who might they be? Let's explore some of the possibilities.
