7 Horrible Truths About WWE's Future

Disturbing realisations the McMahon family need to recognise.

The WWE is currently in a state of slow transition. Vince's slowly loosening grip upon the company signifies an upcoming era of transition - and potential turmoil. Finally emerging from the stagnation it endured for much of the 21st century, the company seems to be in good stead, especially with a crop of prime NXT talent on the cusp of the main roster. The past couple of WrestleManias have enjoyed much acclaim, suggesting that the booking team know how to pull one out of the bag when the stakes are high, even in the face of suffocating criticism throughout the prior months. However, the fact remains that there is still much wrong with the promotion - issues which could worsen as the WWE undergoes this stressful time of change. Some are long-existing problems with the company itself, things that Vince has been unable (or unwilling) to remedy during his long reign at the top, while others are simply issues caused by changes to the world around the wrestling industry. A switch of ownership raises all sorts of questions, and while Triple H and Stephanie seem like the ideal candidates to take the WWE forward into a new era, some problems exist which they simply might be unable to fix.
