7 Matches That Must Happen At NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn

7. Kassius Ohno Vs. Hideo Itami

It was made abundantly clear following TakeOver: Chicago that Kassius Ohno and Hideo Itami are about to start working together. Itami sold immense frustration at his loss to Bobby Roode, and Ohno's efforts to calm down the former KENTA were for nought. An Itami vs. Ohno match is almost inevitable.

Most critics have assumed that the footage suggests that Itami is turning heel, but holding fire on that may well be the right move. Despite the goodwill of his return, it feels like just a matter of time before Kassius Ohno turns heel and becomes the best bully wrestler on the planet once again.

Hideo Itami vs. Kassius Ohno may well happen before Brooklyn, but if NXT can hold off for a few months then something special could be brewing. Itami needs a rivalry to hang his hat on, and stiff battles with the former Chris Hero might be the best thing for him.
