6. Finn Bálor Is Profoundly Confused

This week's episode of RAW was adversely affected by an injury to Braun Strowman, but the insanity should not be excused because of it.

Bray Wyatt has been tormenting Finn Bálor of late, but forget all that: the injury to Strowman means that he might yet be pushed as Strowman's replacement in the top heel spot. This might explain why he and Bálor were kept apart on Monday, but surely Bálor should have been booked to avenge him on some level. Since returning from injury, Bálor has neglected to immediately challenge for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship, pinned Kevin Owens before deciding not to bother with the guaranteed title shot such a victory usually comes with, and has now ignored the psychological and physical torture to which Wyatt has subjected him.

This is a worse amnesia angle than that time Cactus Jack got Lost In Cleveland in WCW. Bálor did get the chance to pin The Miz, avenging his defeat in the Triple Threat match last week, but odds are he'll forget that he defeated the number one contender and thus should probably be in line for a shot.

At this rate, he'll probably spend this coming Monday wandering around backstage, gibbering, wondering where he is.
