7 Rookies WWE Hopes Can Evoke Former Stars
1. Jason Jordan (Kurt Angle)
The only way WWE could be trying to evoke memories of Kurt Angle more with Jason Jordan is if they literally outed the guy as the Raw general manager's long-lost illegitimate son. Wait, what? They actually did that?
If the last few months are anything to go by, the efforts to get Jordan over by associating him with the Olympic Gold Medalist who he now calls "dad" are perhaps doing him more harm than good.
To be fair, when Jordan gets going in the ring, he really does have at least a whiff of his kayfabe old man, although thanks to the inorganic way in which he's been shoe-horned into the top of the WWE card, he faces an uphill battle to win round the fans.
