Every individual wrestling fan will have their own favourite WWE announcers.

It's really dependent which era you happen to have grown up in. In the bustling 80s and early 90s, there were few better than Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. Towards the cartoonish mid-90s, Vince McMahon was the voice of countless childhoods ("What a manoeuvre"), and that morphed into the Attitude banter between Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler towards the end of the decade.

Then, for younger viewers, there's Michael Cole. Known as the "voice of WWE", Cole does an admirable job tying things together in an era when scripting is law and sponsorship messages, social media trends and other distractions flood the product. He, just like those before him, has had his fair share of memorable calls.

Some of wrestling's best moments have been more memorable because of the people narrating them. No, this isn't intended to be an exhaustive list of WWE's greatest commentary quotes, but all of the ones included would be in there for sure if it was.
