7 Things No WWE Fan Wants (That Will Probably Happen Soon)

7. Another Legends Main Event In Saudi Arabia

Super ShowDown, bags of riches caused by WWE's partnership with Saudi Vision 2020 or not, was one of the most creatively useless specials of the year. It followed the same precedent set by 2018's Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel. Legendary dream matches, we were told, were as good a reason to tune in as any.

Put succinctly, they're not. They're actually quite depressing.

To younger fans eager for another helping of fast-paced action, they're nothing more than some old duffers wobbling through a greatest hits set this generation never asked for. To old fans who do have fondness for such legends, they're a cruel reminder that age catches up with us all and yesterday's gold is today's scrap.

Goldberg vs. The Undertaker was the latest example of this. A definite dream match, it took place on another controversial, unwanted show in Jeddah and brought a tear to eyes young and old for the wrong reasons. Will that stop WWE from producing another iconic match of the past when they return to Saudi? Will it hell.

Fans will have to get used to this whether they want it or not.
