7 Things You Didn't Know About Alexa Bliss

NXT's smallest superstar could be the next big thing in women's wrestling.

Alexa Bliss is one of NXT's fastest-rising young stars. The pint-sized diva signed with the WWE's talent-packed developmental territory in 2013. After a few initial appearances as a ring-announcer and unnamed extra, she entered the NXT Women's Championship tournament and made it to the semi finals, defeating former Divas Champion Alicia Fox along the way before losing out to Charlotte Flair. After an injury hiatus, she returned earlier this year with a countout victory over champion Sasha Banks, but lost the subsequent rematch. Despite not quite scaling the same heights as peers Paige, Charlotte and Sasha, she is rapidly becoming a fan favourite. This momentum has been strengthened by a recent heel turn, which has seen her become the manager of NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy in the process. Although very much still a developmental talent, it's no surprise that Bliss has been earmarked for future success on the main roster. She is unique due to her particularly small stature - no mean feat given the WWE's distinct lack of diversity regarding the "look" of their female roster (especially compared to their all-shapes, all-sizes male counterparts), and continues to improve leaps and bounds every time she takes to the ring. Here are seven little-known facts about a potential Divas Champion of the future, and one of NXT's brightest prospects.
