7 Ups & 2 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 20)

A slew of excellent video packages for the Bound For Glory go-home show.

Bound For Glory goes down this Saturday evening, so Impact Wrestling needed to go out with a bang with their final weekly show before the pay-per-view. That, they most certainly did.

Before we dive into the in-ring portion of the evening, the production levels for the pay-per-view's promo videos were sheer perfection. All four championship matches received the big fight feel treatment, with Deonna Purrazzo and Kylie Rae being a real standout among them all. A big match doesn't need to have this sort of promotion, but it goes a long way in separating the absolute best from the rest of the crop.

In the ring, Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan rekindled their rivalry for one of their best matches together to date, while The Good Brothers and The North stood across from each other in a star-filled main event. Even though we've seen those two tandems either face off or brawl on a number of occasions, it never gets tiring.

Elsewhere, Gia Miller and Jimmy Jacobs' sitdown interviews with Eric Young and Moose respectively ended in varying ways, Rosemary earned the right to resurrect Father James Mitchell for her and John E. Bravo's wedding, and Alisha Edwards was on the receiving end of one of the nastiest looking Gores in recent memory.

Let's get to it...
