Rumors are just that, but sometimes when you hear a logical rumor and then it doesn’t come true, you’re left questioning that lack of logic.

Case in point: For weeks now, Paige has been rumored to be on her way back to the main roster, and one speculation was that she’d be entered into the triple threat match for the final spot on the Raw women’s team. Instead, we got Dana Brooke, a woman whose pre-match poses are half her in-ring repertoire.

Brooke is the most underused woman on the roster and at the same time just treading water. She would benefit greatly from a change of scenery – like maybe a trip back to NXT.

As for Paige’s no-show, it might make sense because burning Paige’s return after a year on a packed Raw leading to a major PPV could have been a waste, but that doesn’t mean we can toss logic for two seconds and be frustrated at seeing someone who hasn’t improved in the ring in the last two years compete on Raw rather than a talented and ready wrestler.
