7 Ups & 8 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 3)

We're just over a month away from Hard To Kill, and with the card slowly beginning to take shape, it's looking set to be a spectacular pay-per-view.

This week's Impact Wrestling proved itself to be quite the night, featuring the return of former four-time Knockouts Champion ODB. It's always a heartwarming moment when a legend of the promotion in question returns back to where they made a name for themselves, but it becomes that extra bit more special when the promotion is helping out the returning star. All the proceeds made from ticket sales from this show went towards helping get ODB's food truck back on the road. One hell of a gesture from Impact management.

Elsewhere, Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard took part in a press conference ahead of their World Championship match, Michael Elgin inserted himself into the already brilliant bout between Eddie Edwards and Brian Cage, Johnny Swinger attempted to form a union with Joey Ryan, and Ace Austin and Trey led their teams into battle in a six man tag team match prior to their turn at Hard To Kill.

As usual, it wasn't an entirely good two hours of action. Backstage interviewer Gabby was a shambles during her two reports with Michael Elgin and Fallah Bahh, Trey's mother once again made herself known, and Rob Van Dam, Rhino, and Tommy Dreamer went at it like it was the '90s all over again.

Still, a decent night. Let's get to it...
