Right off the bat, hats off to Bayley for short-arming Sasha Banks. Not enough for its own “up,” but a good moment nonetheless.

However, after a stomp that seemed to signify a heel turn, Sasha was right back teaming with Bayley, playing face-in-peril in a six-woman tag match. Meanwhile, Mickie James went from a casual ally of Alexa Bliss to full-on heel in one night, with no real reason given.

So to recap, the woman who all-but turned heel was playing face, and the face who had a cautious alliance with a heel led a heel beatdown of a face.

None of this is particularly horrible, but it’s just the kind of thing that’s confusing without some context or follow-up. The random shifts plagued the women’s division for years, and hopefully this was just an aberration.
