7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 5)

1. Authority Shows Their A**

One of the biggest complaints (rightfully so) is that Stephanie McMahon rarely – if ever – gets her comeuppance. Think back during the past four-plus years. Aside from Brie Bella slapping her (and losing at SummerSlam) and Vickie Guerrero pushing her into a vat of slop, when has Stephanie been one-upped?

That’s why what happened Monday night was so unique – and so great.

Stephanie tried to slap Kurt Angle after he made the mixed tag match for WrestleMania 34, only for Ronda Rousey to grab her arm. Then after defusing things, Triple H tried to sucker-punch Angle, leading to a melee that seemingly ended with Steph hitting Rousey from behind and fleeing.

But that’s not where it actually ended.

Triple H tried a Pedigree, only to be put into an anklelock by Angle. And then Stephanie, hanging too close to the ring, was dragged back in by Rousey, and hit with a Samoan Drop. Just like that, the authority figures were left hobbled, something we rarely ever see.

Sure, next week Angle could be laid out by the awesome power of Triple H, but it was great to see Hunter and Stephanie take a licking for once to set up the match.
