7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 5)

5. Nia Breaks Down

So what was the point of showing Nia Jax sobbing backstage?

Jax clearly was in pain from being in an armbar and triangle for a couple minutes during her loss to Asuka, and she was obviously frustrated at losing to the Empress of Tomorrow again. But for Nia to start crying when Alexa Bliss “consoled” her was just strange.

Was the goal to show Bliss as a bully who used psychological warfare to break Nia? Or is this breakdown supposed to lead to a character development for Jax?

If the answer is “neither,” then this is one of the most pointless segments of the year. And even if it’s one of the two former options, it’s still a strange development.
