7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 20th)

Brock and Undertaker tear into each other while the Divas dominate and Cesaro swings.

So, just how long would you wait for revenge? Apparently, the Undertaker waited 469 days to exact his revenge on Brock Lesnar for beating him at WrestleMania XXX €“ or so we€™re led to believe, according to Taker himself. The Deadman visited WWE Raw Monday night and did something he hasn€™t done in nearly 16 months: talk on camera. That might not sound monumental, but it was in some ways. The truly epic part of Raw, however, involved nearly every member of the roster, as the entire locker room emptied out to help keep Brock and Undertaker apart, a job at which they clearly failed. The pull-apart brawl might have done more to secure fans€™ interest in the SummerSlam main event than any amount of talking or contrived storylines. That doesn€™t mean we didn€™t get contrived storylines (see 469 days to exact revenge). The other major development Monday night was the fact there were two(!) Divas matches Monday night, and NXT rookies Charlotte and Sasha Banks emerged victorious in each. It€™s possible that WWE gets it and is actually following through on pushing the new women. It will be interesting to see if this continues long-term, or if they will fade into the scenery over time. So what confronted the enemy and what weaseled its way out of it? Let€™s find out€

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
