7 Weaknesses WWE's Next Generation Stars Need To Fix

7. Dean Ambrose Could Throw Better Punches

When Dean Ambrose wrestles he has something of a unique brawling style yet when he throws a punch it doesn't look that great. A quality punch goes a long way. Some of the best guys at throwing a quality worked punch over the years are Jerry Lawler, Steve Austin and Goldust. Kane has a great one too. When Ambrose does it, the move just doesn't look as impressive. He might want to think about throwing chops because not a lot of current guys do them. Ric Flair did them and Shawn Michaels added them in his career. It's not as impressive as a punch in terms of how it looks, which is why guys today are probably apprehensive about doing them. Ambrose is still evolving as a singles babyface wrestler. It seems like he's settled on the look with the tank top and jeans although it's not that creative of an outfit. The music is pretty generic. All that really matters is that he's winning over the fans and we know that's important. It might be a minor thing that his punches don't look great, but it's one of those things he can improve on as long as he keeps working at it.
