7 WWE Stables That Were Doomed From The Start

6. Disciples Of Apocalypse

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXLBGjWTFbk The Disciples of Apocalypse (DOA for short) were formed because the original Nation of Domination group disbanded. Crush was a guy that had been around WWE for a while under different gimmicks. He started off as a member of Demolition, then he was a Hawaiian strongman that would crush the skulls of his opponents and then he joined NOD. Once that association ended, he turned into a biker that led the DOA group in 1997 In addition to Crush as the leader, the group consisted of a guy named Chainz that was Brian Lee, who played the role of the fake Undertaker in 1994. The other members were Skull and 8-Ball also known as the Harris Brothers or Blue Brothers. In other words, they were four guys that each went through plenty of gimmick changes in their careers, but at least they found something worthwhile as DOA. The group entered the ring on motorcycles, so they turned them into babyface with the idea being they were cool guys that happened to be badasses. Were their matches ever good? Not really. They seemed to wrestle Los Boricuas nearly every week and it was never that exciting. Aside from having an intimidating look, DOA should be remembered as a failure.
