7 WWE Tag Teams You Totally Forgot Existed

Look out for the bad gimmicks...if you can remember them!

The key to being a successful tag team is having a gimmick that works, putting on matches that are entertaining and building up chemistry between the partners. Teams that aren't able to click in those ways don't last. Sometimes they get to team together or years on end without ever being that great, but most of the time they end up dying quickly due to their lack of talent. The unique trend about these bad teams is that a lot of them existed during Smackdown's run in the mid 2000s. When the brand extension was in place, Raw was always considered the more important show although Smackdown certainly had its moments where it was better too. Apparently Smackdown was also the place for short lived tag teams. A lot of these teams didn't last long because their gimmicks were awful. As we've seen so many times in wrestling history, if a guy or girl is saddled with a bad character then it's hard to make it as a star. It doesn't matter how good that person might be in the ring either. Once you have a gimmick that is seen as being dumb then there's no way to get out of that hole. Here's a look at seven WWE tag teams that weren't memorable at all.
