On paper, the triple threat match between Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins and John Cena at the 2015 Royal Rumble was supposed to be a nothing match. It seemed inevitable that Lesnar, a dominant champion since taking the WWE title from Cena in the summer, would head into WrestleMania carrying the strap, with Rollins - the Money in the Bank briefcase holder - not yet ready to take his seat at the top-table.

Whilst the result may have been something of a foregone conclusion, the action was anything but dull. Lesnar went into the match in such explosive form that only a joint effort from his two challengers - who teamed up to dump him through an announce table, ostensibly ending his involvement in the event - could put him in any danger of losing his title. But the Beast fought back, delivering German suplexes galore as he cemented his place at the top of the food chain.
