One thing that came out of nowhere recently was the unlikely merger of Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Two men who'd found themselves floundering around the single's midcard suddenly dominated the tag-division on their first-ever night as a team. Heads were scratched, chins were stroked, and then it emerged that Paul Heyman had put them together because he's a big fan of Roode. Fair enough.

That they jumped straight to the head of the line for the Raw Tag Team Championship rankled slightly, but it's nice that Roode's time in the wilderness looks to be coming to a close. Better yet, the pair are strongly rumoured to be walking out with the gold on Sunday as well, becoming the latest in a seemingly never-ending line of teams who'll be hoping to "bring some importance back to the belts".

We'll get to precisely how this will might come to pass in a moment, but all the talk doing the rounds at the moment is that it's an essential component of the evening's Universal title picture. So, well done Bobby, you get to be an NPC in your own achievements now.
