8 Legendary Tales Of Badassery From Steve Austin And Ric Flair

8. Andre The Giant Wins A Round Of Blackjack

Longtime fans of wrestling will remember Blackjack Mulligan as a tough, grizzled outlaw who made the rounds in the territories and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside his tag team partner Blackjack Lanza. He€™s the father of Barry and Kendall Windham, father-in-law of Mike Rotunda €“ better known as IRS €“ and the grandfather of current WWE superstars Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas. At one time, Andre The Giant was one of the most feared and respected men in the business. When he was in his younger days, the Frenchman€™s massive size was complimented by a frightening agility which made him a dangerous man to be on the bad side of. Practically everyone was terrified of him. Blackjack Mulligan was not one of those people. While working in Virginia Beach for a show, Mulligan, Andre, Flair and Dick Murdoch were hanging out at the beach when Blackjack decided he was going to punch Andre in the face. No real reason other than that he was Andre The Giant and you just didn€™t go around punching him in the face, but Mulligan did. The Giant flew into a rage and took both Mulligan and Murdoch €“ both large substantially tough men €“ and dragged them into the ocean where he proceeded to attempt to drown them before common sense intervened and Andre skated a double homicide charge.
