8 New WWE Directions For Kurt Angle's Son Jason Jordan

Well, the cat's well and truly out of the bag; Kurt Angle's big secret is that he is the father of Jason Jordan. No interruptions, no run-in, no scandalous love affair. The whole thing was a distinctly PG take on an Attitude Era-style storyline, but maybe we'll see more drama unfurl as the weeks go on.

All we know for certain is that Jason Jordan is now on Raw, and that a push is surely forthcoming. He's certainly capable enough to make an impact in the ring, and with the backing of a legend as renowned as Kurt Angle, the future surely looks bright for the former amateur wrestler - if WWE handle his next moves well.

Many on Raw seem to be busy with feuds at the moment. My initial guess for Jordan was a push to the Intercontinental Championship, but Miz is currently locked in that (eternal?) struggle with Dean Ambrose - a feud which has now incorporated Seth Rollins. In the case of the former NXT and SmackDown tag champ, it's time to think outside of the box. Here are a few suggestions - some more outlandish than others.

The way American Alpha have been so quietly disbanded seems to suggest that this match won't happen - but it's one I'd like to see. Much of the speculation revolving around the former standouts of the NXT tag division concerned who was better, with the general consensus lying with Chad Gable.

An immediate feud with the jilted tag partner would allow Jordan to gain a quick boost of momentum, while the natural underdog nature of Gable means that a loss wouldn't hurt him too badly.

The match would work best at the dual-branded SummerSlam, allowing Chad to stay on SmackDown - a slightly better audience for his impressive workrate and internet credibility.
