8 Reasons Why TNA's Closure Would Be A Good Thing

Maybe it's time for the Total Nonstop Action to finally stop.

Whether TNA shuts in a few weeks or months, or lasts another two years, it's fairly obvious that the company won't last and that their end as a wrestling promotion is probably near. In recent news, Spike TV have elected not to renew their TV deal with TNA due to being unhappy with how the company is being managed. Because of Spike's alleged reasons for cutting their ties with TNA, bigger channels and networks are avoiding them, as Spike presumably wouldn't cut one of their highest rating shows without a very significant reason. From the very beginning, TNA had a lot of potential and numerous chances to turn things around, but those in management seemed determined to make bad decision after bad decision, in booking, hiring and presentation. While some may be glad that TNA'll may soon be off TV screens and while some may miss it, the general consensus is that the promotion has pretty much played out at this point, it seems like an appropriate time for Dixie and friends to pack up and go home. If you actually think about the consequences of no more Total Nonstop Action, most of them are overwhelmingly positive for the fans, for other companies and for the wrestling industry as a whole.
