8 Things We Learned From Shawn Michaels On Talk Is Jericho Part 1

Chris Jericho sits down with his greatest rival for part one of an entertaining interview.

On this week's Talk Is Jericho, the host took the opportunity to sit down and speak with his all-time favorite performer and greatest rival. Shawn Michaels is on the very short list of the best wrestlers to ever step into the ring, and even his detractors are forced to admit what a once in a lifetime in-ring talent he was. Never the greatest promo and certainly not a big guy by WWE standards, The Heartbreak Kid let his passion and competitive nature fuel him, propelling him to the height of the business. The number of guys who can say they had their best match against Shawn Michaels is staggering, and Bret Hart - despite hating his guts for over a decade - never ceased to give credit where it was due. Upon returning to WWE in 2002 a changed man, HBK went on to have the greatest string of matches in history, culminating in an amazing series of WrestleMania classics vs. The Undertaker, the last of which resulted in his retirement. Outside the confines of a pro wrestling setting, Shawn isn't nearly as confident a speaker, but this interview was entertaining nonetheless. Read on to find out what these two elite performers discussed and then check back in a few days for the second half.
