Two weeks on from SmackDown Live's first brand-exclusive PPV, RAW got on the board last night with Clash of Champions. The former World Championship Wrestling event got something a revamp in the modern era of World Wrestling Entertainment and all the titles on WWE's flagship show found themselves defended.

But after the success of Backlash how did the show fare in comparison?

Not too well, in truth. Clash of Champions featured a whole lot of decent in-ring action, as the competitors went out of their way to put on one hell of a show for the live crowd in Indianapolis. Only one title changed hands, a long-running series failed to reach a promised conclusion and we continue to move towards a record being broken for the sake of a broken record. The main event? More on that later...

Here are eight things WWE got wrong at Clash of Champions 2016.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
