Curse that evil Randy Orton for threatening noble champ Jinder Mahal...

Have you ever sat watching WWE's product and wondered what's being said around the world in different commentary languages? Reddit user indianwwefan1 did, so much so that he/she chose to watch the Battleground main event between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton with the Hindi announce team instead of an English-speaking crew then post their findings.

The results were pretty spectacular, because those Indian commentators weaved a very different story to Tom Phillips, JBL and Byron Saxton around the Punjabi Prison match. Like some sort of alternate universe, the Hindi announcers exist in a very different WWE, one that doesn't quite look upon WWE Champ Mahal as SmackDown's top heel.

Other international announce teams such as the Spanish or French squads likely followed much the same format as their English counterparts at Battleground, but the Hindi narration worked hard to weave a contrasting story.

All hail 'noble champion' Jinder Mahal...

8. Randy Orton Was Cast As An 'Evil American'

As soon as Randy Orton's trademark entrance music hit, the live crowd in Philly rose to their feet in support. Meanwhile, the Hindi announcers went about the business of telling Indian viewers watching that Orton was an evil American villain who wished to steal Jinder Mahal's WWE Title dreams. Just a bit different then.

As Cole, JBL and Saxton talked about Randy not having to deal with The Singh Brothers (who had been a thorn in his side during previous matches with Jinder), the Indian team were verbally spitting at the feet of Orton and treating him like the heel instead of fellow countryman Mahal.

Randy couldn't do anything right in the eyes of the Hindi commentary team; even when he was doing nothing more than walking to the ring, putting his hands on the Punjabi Prison structure and surveying his chances, Orton was said to be a cold, callous individual who hated Jinder.
