8 Times WWE Wrestlers Saved Other Wrestlers From Injury

7. Seth Rollins Saves Seth Rollins

A few weeks after their snoozefest at SummerSlam 2014, Roman Reigns faced Randy Orton in the main event of an episode of RAW. The match ended in disqualification as Seth Rollins and Corporate Kane interfered. Eventually, Orton joined in as well and motioned to lower the steel cage (which was used earlier in the night for a match between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt).

Reigns valiantly fought off Kane and Rollins, leaving him alone with Orton as the cage lowered around them. Rollins attempted to re-enter the ring with a steel chair as the cage came down, but he was a bit too late in his efforts. A large metal spike, which was meant to secure the cage in place, came dangerously close to impaling Rollins as he tried to get in. He was still able to get the chair in the ring, but it almost cost him his life.

Of all the entries on this list, this one may be the most uncomfortable to watch. Just... thank goodness he recoiled when he did.
