8 Ways WWE Fastlane Could Change WrestleMania 33

This Sunday is a key fork in the road to WrestleMania - but what on earth is going to happen!?

This Sunday, WWE brings us one of the least predictable pre-Mania PPVs in recent memory. Nothing in Fastlane is quite as set in stone as we might have imagined a month ago, with multiple possibilities still on the table for Orlando. But will this remain the case once the red brand rolls in and out of Milwaukee, or will Fastlane shed a lot more light on proceedings?

Depending on the events of Sunday's show, we could well be looking at a far clearer WrestleMania card. Only two matches are officially confirmed for the April spectacular at the time of writing: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, and Bray Wyatt vs. the winner of AJ Styles and Luke Harper (although many are still expecting Randy Orton to involve himself somehow).

On the Raw side of things, at least, many matches have been heavily rumoured. Rollins vs. Triple H seems to be a lock (Seth's health depending), as does Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho - but whether this match will be for the US or Universal Championship is still unclear.

Other potential additions include Reigns vs. The Undertaker and a fatal four-way for the Women's title, and these could become far more (or less) likely depending on Sunday's outcomes...

8. Lesnar Forces A Universal Championship Match

Most are expecting Goldberg to win the Universal Championship on Sunday, given the ease with which he beat Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series (and eliminated him from the Royal Rumble). However, Kevin Owens seems to have some sort of plan. He's not going down in under two minutes, that's for sure.

It would be wise to expect Lesnar to get involved, but while it seems far more natural for him to attack his hated foe, he could actually think two steps ahead and take out KO instead.

This would, of course, make their match at WrestleMania 33 a title match - and likely ensure that it main events the show. But will the untameable beast be able to think so strategically? Does he even care about the championship?
